King’s Bridge is a small, progressive, discussion-oriented group in Calgary. We host both non-religious, community-building, conversational events and spiritually-oriented church gatherings that honour a wide diversity of worldviews.

  • August 16, KB BBQ and mini soapbox derby: 11am.​​​ BBQ food provided, bring a potluck food or drink item to complement. â€‹

  • August 28, Marda Loop Summer Supper and Ice Cream gathering, 5pm, latecomers welcome. â€‹

  • Sunday, September 13, 3pm, Marda Loop Brewing Company: Bridges. This is a soft start to the next Bridges season where you can suggest topics, alternate meeting times, and different meeting places for the months ahead.  

  • Friday, September 18, 6pm: Burgertime Fun Night - Burgers provided, bring a potluck burger topping or side to share. Plus, there'll be a Burgertime arcade game competition and prizes.

  • Sunday, September 27, 10:30am: Potluck brunch (in person) followed by The Caim at 11am (also available via Zoom).

  • Friday, November 27, 6:30pm: '70s Rec Room Fun Night - enjoy great music, '70s era rec room games, and '70s themed prizes. Bring a potluck food or drink snack (possibly '70s themed) and consider dressing '70s style.

King's Bridge is a registered Canadian charity. You can donate via Canada Helps (they will keep 4.5% of your donation) or via etransfer to our treasurer, Cindy at stealthwarrior3@gmail.com (100% of your donation will go to King's Bridge). Financial inquiries can also be addressed to Cindy at the same email address. 

Most King's Bridge gatherings take place in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, which is Treaty 7 territory. This is part of the traditional home of the Blackfoot Confederacy (which includes the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai First Nations), the Îethka Nakoda Wîcastabi First Nations (which includes the Chiniki, Bearspaw, and Wesley First Nations), and the Tsuut’ina First Nations. Calgary is also part of the homeland of the Northwest Métis and Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3.
