The Stories That Made Us

Discussion

  1. Have you recently had a time where you visited with others and told stories from your past?

  2. What kinds of stories are you hoping to hear from KB folks?

  3. Have you ever been deeply impacted by a story?

  4. How do you most commonly engage narratives? (conversation? movies? TV? social media? books? other forms?)

  5.   Have you scrutinized how social media impacts, amplifies, changes, or restricts narratives?

  6. Do you have a preference for fiction or non-fiction?

  7. What matters most in a story to you? (relatability? characters? plot? themes? media form? other elements?)

  8. Do you tend to think of your experiences in a narrative frame? Can you reshape things you haven’t previously thought of as stories into a story?

Many Ways to Change the World

St. Brigid's Cross
We won't all be making St. Brigid's crosses this year like we did last year as part of our gathering, but reeds and ties will be available for children, or anyone else who wants to make one during the Caim.
