  4. Are there positive personal or social aspects to alcohol use?

  5. What are your experiences with alcohol and sobriety? Do you have experiences with other people's relationship with alcohol that have shaped you?

  6. Has the pandemic had an influence on your use of alcohol?

  7. Cultures vary in their integration of alcohol into daily life (think of the difference between the culture of France and the USA for example). Are there cultural models you value?

  8. Has the opioid epidemic influenced how we approach alcoholism?

  9. How does the ubiquity of alcoholism, binge drinking, and other substance abuse behaviours influence the way you navigate social situations involving alcohol and/or drugs?

  10. Some would suggest, positively or negatively, everyone is addicted to something (alcohol, exercise, reading, sex, video games, tv, food etc). Do you think this statement is true or false?

  11. Some philosophies and/or religions ban alcohol. Others teach moderation. Some advise adjusting one's behaviour based on the needs of others. Do you follow any personal, philosophical, or religious guidelines relating to drugs and alcohol?
